Once flights to the edge of space become available, how soon until a 20 mile high club is created?
The World View Experience is a 5 hour trip, like no other, to the edge of space. At 100,000 feet you're sitting atop 99% of the Earth's atmosphere and you're able to see the curvature of our planet. For about two hours the World View Voyagers (name given to passengers) sail along the stratosphere within the luxurious capsule where they can enjoy refreshments from the mini bar or communicate with friends and family back home. Yes, there's even a lavatory. The capsule seats 8 comfortably - 6 Voyagers and 2 pilots.
World View Experience is currently on schedule to begin flights in 2017. Tickets cost $75,000.
