Oculus Rift Virtual Reality

The inventor of the Oculus Rift, Palmer Luckey, began college at age 14 but dropped out before graduating to start the company Oculus, which Facebook bought for $2 Billion. Sounds to me like he made the right move - not because of the money but because he believed in something and was wiling to put everything into its success.

We'll find out soon enough just how much success as the world prepares to receive the first of Oculus Rift. They've hyped it up enough and now the wait is over. Pre-orders ship March 28th. Rift has a resolution of 2160 x 1200, a high refresh rate of 90Hz, built-in audio and a 110 degrees field of view. Expect to lose yourself in the virtual reality experience. From gaming, to movies, or even just interacting with friends on the other side of the world; Rift and virtual reality is posed to be the next avenue of entertainment.
