Devon Star Wars™ Watch
208
Mashup pieces of Darth Vader's helmet and an X-Wing Fighter, reassemble using titanium fasteners, topping it all off with an Imperial Crest. What do you get? Probably a mess-o-heap of scrape metal!
However, give those raw materials to Scott Devon, designer for the Los Angeles headquartered design lab Devon, and you'll an elegant, functional, and sexy Devon Star Wars™ Watch. I'm sure there's a sub-par "Force" pun here, but for a $28,500 watch I'll hold back.
Factoid:
In 1960, the US Navy sent a submarine 35,798 feet below sea level and attached a Rolex watch to the outside of the vessel (just out of curiosity). Unbelievably, the watch survived intact, without losing accuracy by even a second.
